About Learning

Human are story telling creatures, it's the way we imagine and communicate, it's the reason why we care about history and culture, it is how we connect. We best learn through stories, to be familiar with a language, to understand the world and ourselves, we can always find wisdom between the stories we shared. 

Most of us associate learning with school, something that can be done and accomplished, but the pursue of knowledge has no end, it rewards the journey rather than numbers. A lot of people gave up learning because there isn't an instant validation, no applause or gold stars, only a long journey with a gradual shift, so gradual you wouldn't even notice. The fastest and most successful way to learn is by experience, and to experience without limit is to gather them from the others, and I know just a place where everyone shares their stories. 

Once you choose to refuse the instant gratification of distraction disguised as happiness and pick up a book, when you choose to dive into the sea of knowledge and swim with the stories told from deep within the hearts, you can find yourself changed with perspective adapted from all the many tales you've learned. One day without warning, you will start to feel them sneaks up on you, you find pieces of it in the casual conversations you had with your friends, you will find a bigger room to dance with your imagination, in the dreams you follow that leads from within, you will even gain the ability to wear many shoes and fit many hats, the possibilities are endless once you let knowledge in.
