We believe that everyone has the ability to love and create, and that art is one of the many ways to remind us of our many strengths as human. Using art as our medium, we want to invite everyone to play and imagine, to love and build connections, to focus on the now and be mindful, kind, to have courage and to love.
How We Started?
We became friends during high schools. Two introverts forced to make acquaintance by fate, arranged to be seated next to each other, we found connections through common interests and hobbies.
The Start Of Something Mew
After college, our lives were halted due to the virus. Confused, we decided to try building something together, a small art business. We gave ourselves a year, to go all in and see if this will ever go somewhere. If this doesn't work we will go back to whatever we have planned to do before the pandemic happened.
Mewmovement The Art Shop
We fell in love with what we do and what we built, the stories we told and the people we met, we could picture our future and the endless potential and possibilities we can do with mew. So we took the leap and opened an art shop, a place for us to dream, a place with no limitations.
Our Mission
We want to make a space full of love, out of love. For those who are lost, who longs to belong. The one who are scared, that wants to fly but is afraid of the Sun and the ocean beneath. The one without a voice, or the one screaming but never heard. The people who are constantly trying and refuse to give up, and the ones that are holding on a thin line, looking desperately for a little bit of colours. Everything we do is dedicated to and driven by love.
