Mewracle: A Portal Into Imagination
We dedicated a space in our art shop for a mini art installation, every 3 months we would come up with a new theme and build it out of scratch. This time inspired by the 2 part movie Wicked, we want to bring to life Dorothy's house and the Munchkin Land, how it feels like to walk into the world of Oz.
Changed, for good
We had the idea of building the Dorothy's house 2 weeks before the launch of the Mewracle, this was before the second movie come out and we could only guess how things would look like based on the first movie and all the behind the scene photos that was available. The initial idea is to make a random Munchkin's house, and filled the space with origami tulips, then they released another trailer for the movie right when we were about to build the Munchkin' house and in the trailer they showed the fight scene between Glinda and Elphaba, right in front of the fallen house of Dorothy, with enough visuals of the house we abandoned the original idea and went for it.
We hope this Mewracle will encourage people to imagine and to dream, don't be afraid of change and do what you think is right, be brave especially when it's scary.
